With tears in our eyes, love in our hearts, and an aching in our soul, we are devastated by the passing of Greg Lapsevich. Our beloved friend, drummer and founding member of Ace Molar.

For nearly 20 years, Greg brought happiness, laughter, love, and a pocket rhythm to Ace Molar.

Greg dealt with major health issues for a year and a half. He was incredibly brave throughout the ordeal. Not one to seek pity, Greg’s professionalism and smile belied the truth of his condition. Not many of his friends and acquaintances even knew.

Greg was not only dedicated to the band, but he was an incredible husband and father. All of us were in awe of how well he raised and cared for his sons, Geoffrey and Wesley, and how much he loved his wife, Wendy.

They are his legacy.

Greg is one of the original members of Ace Molar and helped shape it into what we are today.

The day before he passed, Greg said “this is the best band I’ve ever been in.” We are humbled and honored that he shared his talents with us.

More than that, Greg was family. He was there in our good times and bad, giving everything he could and more. None of us will be the same without Greg, but we are better people for having known him.

Thank you, Greg. We can’t wait to jam with you, when we see you again.
